Rocco F. Stingone, passed away, surrounded by his family, September 1, 2010 at age 82. Born November 28, 1927 in Roccasecca, Frosinone, Italy to Gabriel and Bernadette (Fraioli) Stingone. He served in the US Army during WWII and worked as a mutual clerk for Yonkers Raceway.
Rocco was also the former Executive Director of the Don Bosco Community Center in Port Chester and was an avid golfer.
Survived by his beloved wife Mary Ann (DeGiacomo), children Linda, Joanne, Mary Ellen, and Paula Stingone, Lisa (Billy) Spano, Diana and David Diehr, grandchildren Billy Ray, Nicholas, and Anthony Spano, Jessica and Kelly Diehr, Anthony Simms and Chris McLaughlin, siblings Mary Pallone, Carmine and Gabriel (Etta) Stingone, and daughter-in-law Lana Diehr. Predeceased by a son Robert Diehr.
