John M. Sarlo, Jr., passed away January 31, 2009 at age 96. Born December 12, 1912 in Mamaroneck to John and Emilia Sarlo. He worked as a Tinsmith for General Motors and was known as innovative and creative. He was nicknamed “Mr. Fix It”.
John is survived by his beloved wife Jean (Valentino), cherished children Dennis, Richard, and Sandra DeLuca, seven adoring grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren also survived by his loving sisters Kitty Ciraco, Mary Capiola and his brother Humphrey Sarlo. John is predeceased by his brothers James, Dominick, Louis, Joseph, and Rocco.
Visitation Wednesday, February 4 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Thursday, February 5 at 10 AM at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church in West Harrison, followed by entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery.
