Hugh Berberich, Professor of Music at Iona College and Director of Music at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac, NY died unexpectedly on Wednesday June 10, 2009.    He was also music director for St. Augustine Church in Larchmont, NY for over twenty-five years.

Family will receive friends Sunday, June 14 from 2-4 PM at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, 692 US Route 6, Mahopac, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 15 at 11 am at St. John The Evangelist Church. Interment will be private.
