Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Frank D. Karlebach

Frank D. Karlebach, passed away May 13, 2010 at age 86. Born November 20, 1923 in Manheim, Germany to Hugo and Charlotte (Weil) Karlebach. Frank served in the US Army during WWII and then worked as a mechanic and as a service manager in the automotive industry.

Survived by his beloved wife Dorrit , loving children Michelle (Richard) Sanger, and Paul (Rose) Karlebach, adoring grandchildren Nicole(Brady) Berg, Erik Sanger, Jasmine and Ariel Karlebach, and cherished siblings Ellen (Carlos) Gimbel and Bob (Eve) Karlebach.

A funeral was held at the Westchester Jewish Center in Mamaroneck and burial was at Cedar Park Cemetery. For information, ZION MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 914-381-1809.
