Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Elsie Link

Elsie Link, 98, formerly of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, died on April 19, 2011. In 1996 she moved to Larchmont to live with her daughter Gloria and son-in-law John Allen. She attended St. Augustine Church and St. Augustine Senior group and was a member of the Larchmont Senior Citizens.

She was predeceased in 1983 by her husband Joseph Link. Surviving, in addition to her daughter, are a son, Joseph Link, a sister Lillian Kresge, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 30 at St. Mary’s Church, Mocanaqua, Pennsylvania.
