A 48-year-old New Rochelle male pedestrian was struck by a car on the Chatsworth Avenue Bridge in Larchmont at around 7:25 pm on Thursday, November 19, according to a release from the Village of Larchmont Police Department.
The man sustained head injuries and was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. The driver, a 68-year-old New Rochelle woman, complained of shortness of breath and was taken to Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle.
The driver was treated and released. As of Friday at noon, police did not have an update on the pedestrian’s condition.
Westchester County police were called to assist Larchmont in investigation the incident. A preliminary investigation has not turned up any aggravating factors and no charges have been filed.
