Brownies Help Dedicate Constitution Gazebo

Brownie Troop 1832 braved cold rain to plant bulbs for spring blooming around the newly-rebuilt gazebo in Constitution Park on Sunday, October 18 before the gazebo’s dedication that afternoon. Brownies Madeline Schutta and Juliet Webb planned the planting activity with help from their moms.

The troop looks forward to seeing the daffodils and tulips they planted and hope to have one of their meetings in the gazebo in the spring.

Replacing the oldAdd New, deteriorated gazebo was a project spearheaded by the Larchmont Beautification Committee, which raised funds through donations to pay for the new structure. Members of the Larchmont Department of Public Works helped take down the old building and put up the new one.
