FRANCES GIRONDA
Frances Gironda, formerly of Mamaroneck, died December 29, 2005 in
California, where she had been living for the past four years. She was
102. Born May 4, 1903 to Santo and Gaetana (Moschella) Rigano,
Frances was a caring, devoted homemaker who was loved by all who knew her.
Beloved wife of the late Lt. Colonel Augustine Gironda. Survived by her
cherised son, John Gironda, siblings, Angelo and Philip Rigano, and
grandchildren, A. John Gironda III, Philip Mark Gironda, and
great-grandchildren, Michelle, Kevin and Daniel. Predeceased by siblings,
Charles and Joseph Rigano, Lola Proch and Catherine Mahrlig.
Visitation Monday, January 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm COXE &
GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck. Funeral
Mass Tuesday, January 3 at 10 am, Most Holy Trinity RC Church, followed
by entombment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
