JOSEPH H. HENNESSEY
Joseph H. Hennessey, of Mamaroneck, walked into eternal peace on December 10, at
age 77. He was a self made, hard working man who built a business, HennesseyFreda,
Inc. in Larchmont. He served his country in the US Army and was Post Commander
of the American Legion in Larchmont in 1972. He enjoyed an early retirement of golfing with friends and once scored a “hole in
one“. The highlight of his life was being a grandfather.
He leaves his devoted wife of 50 years, Elaine Grasso Hennessey, his children;
Joan of Stamford, CT, Michael (wife Anne Marie) of Winter Park, FL, Susan
Greer (husband Scott) of Poughkeepsie, NY and Barbara Haley (husband Richard)
of Purdys, NY. His cherished grandchildren are Colleen and Evan Greer, Laura and
Jenna Haley, Harrison and Connor Hennessey.
Family will receive friends, Monday, December 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm,
COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. A Funeral
Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 13 at 10 am.
