MARIE(PERSAMPIERI)GERMANI
Marie Germani (Persampieri), a lifetime Mamaroneck resident, died, November 27,
2005 at age 73. Born, September 12, 1932 to Antonio and Vitina (Bilotta)
Persampieri. Known to her friends and family as “The Governor“, Marie worked
as a Village of Mamaroneck crossing guard for twenty years and then retired to
care for her grandchildren.
Marie enjoyed life and her family. Predeceased by her loving husband, Frances,
whom she married on July 1, 1956. Marie is survived by her children: Susan
Genovese (husband William), Richard, and Robert (wife Christina); grandchildren;
Danielle, Christopher and Melissa; siblings: Nicholas and Joseph Persampieri.
She is also predeceased by two sisters: Rose and Antoinette and a brother,
Felice.
Visitation, Tuesday, November 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, COXE & GRAZIANO
FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass, Wednesday,
November 30 at 11:30 am, St. Vito's Roman Catholic Church, followed by
interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
