SYLVIA WEINTRAUB PRAKIN

Sylvia Weintraub Prakin of Florida and formerly of Mamaroneck died November 15, 2005 at age 88. Born November 16, 1916 in the Bronx to Max and Fannie Weintraub.

Sylvia was a teacher in the Harrison and Mamaroneck School Systems and active with B'Nai Brith and Hadassah.

Survived by children Stuart Prakin (Shari) and Wendy Tunick, grandchildren Kimberly, Todd, Rachel and Daniel, great-gradchildren Nicole and Tyler, sisters Ethel Steinberg and Adeline Glassman (Edward). Predeceased by her husband Alexander and siblings Hyman Weintraub and Ann Kanegis.

Funeral services Friday, November 18 at 12:30 pm at Riversville Cemetery in Glenville, CT.
