MARGOT MORLEY
Margot Morley, age 88, of Larchmont, NY and Delray Beach, FL, died after a long illness.
Born Marguerite Madeline Zimmer in Pittsburgh, PA, November 28, 1916. Her parents, Ben
and Nellie Zimmer emigrated from Luxembourg to the US in 1913.
Resident of Larchmont Manor for 83 years. Graduate of Chatsworth Avenue School in 1928,
Rye Country Day School, Class of 1934 and Briarcliff Junior College, Class of 1936.
Wife of the late James T. “Bud“ Morley (1913-1998). Married at St. Augustine's Roman
Catholic Church, November 30, 1940.
Survived by Karen Brennan of Salt Lake City, UT; Mary Pat Ware (Peter) of Tucson, AZ;
William J. Morley (Suzanne) of Larchmont and James T. Morley, Jr. (Marcia) of Newtown,
CT, eleven grand-children, seven great-grandchildren and many relatives in Luxembourg
and the U.S.
Mrs. Morley was an active member of the Ladies of Charity, sponsored by the
Archdiocese of New York and a parishioner of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church in
Larchmont. She was a 60 year member of Winged Foot Golf Club and a former member of
the Larchmont Yacht Club and The Little Club in Gulf Stream, FL.
Visitation will be at Fox Funeral Home, Larchmont, Thursday, October 27 from 3 pm to 8
pm. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic
Church, Friday, October 28 at 10:30 am, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven
Cemetery, Hawthorne. Contributions can be made to St. Augustine's in Larchmont or the
