LOUISE A. GENTILE

Louise A. Gentile, age 91, a lifelong resident of Mamaroneck, NY, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at Sound Shore Hospital in New Rochelle, NY. Mrs. Gentile was born January 18, 1914 in Mamaroneck to Anthony and Carmela Trama.

On December 22, 1935, Mrs. Gentile married Leonard Gentile at St. Vito's Church in Mamaroneck. Mr. Gentile passed away on April 19, 1979.

Louise is survived by two daughters, Corinne Mullen and her husband Richard, Linda Cummings and her husband William of Mamaroneck, four grandchildren, Richard Mullen of Delray Beach, FL; Robert Mullen of Southbury, CT; Sharon Couch of Lexington, KY and William Cummings of Stamford, CT; three great-granddaughters, Taylor, Katelyn and Caroline and four great-grandsons, Tucker, Kyle, Jack and Ryan. Also surviving is her sister Claire Glionna of Rutherford, NJ and was predeceased by her brother Pasquale Trama.

Family was the center of Louise's life; the love she had for her daughters, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren was evident by the smile that came to her face when asked about them. A devoted wife, good friend, wonderful mother and doting grandmother, she was a kind and generous soul, who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will also be remembered for her wonderful cooking.

Visitation Saturday, September 24 from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday, September 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Rd. in Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass Monday, September 26 at 10 am, at St. Vito's Church, followed by an interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Chester, NY.
