AGNES DORAN

Agnes Doran died September 11, 2005 at age 90. She was born August 10, 1915 to John and Delia (Flannery) Doran.

Agnes was one of the first females to graduate from Hunter College in 1938. Agnes was a fifth grade elementary school teacher for the New Rochelle School District and also had the opportunity to teach Religious Education at St's John & Paul Church in Larchmont, and overseas, including Saudi Arabia. Agnes was an active parishioner and volunteer for the Archdiocese of New York.

Agnes is survived by nieces, Christine, Margo, Helen, Donna, Ilene, and nephews, John, Dennis, and Kenneth. She is predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and John.

Funeral Mass, Tuesday, September 13 at 10 am, St's John & Paul Church, followed by an interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. For more information, contact Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, (914)698-5968. Donations may be made in Agnes' name to the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Fund.
