WILLIAM L. JOHNSON, SR
William L. Johnson, Sr. a resident of Mamaroneck for over 40 years, departed this life
September 7, 2005. He was born August 28, 1937 to Anita and David Johnson in Newark, NJ.
Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Newark public schools and a member of David McDaniel
Lodge # 982. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, and he worked as a Custodian for the Board of Education, Mamaroneck.
Surviving are three sons, William, Jr., Michael and Anthony Johnson, two daughters, Sharon
Peterkin and Donna Westley, two sisters, Alice Jackson and Gloria Johnson, two
grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Visiting Wednesday, September 14 from 11-12 pm at Barney T. McClanahan Funeral Home,
30 Winthrop Avenue, New Rochelle. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 14 at
12:00 pm in the funeral home Chapel. Interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
