JOHN B. FOCA
John B. Foca, a lifelong resident of Pleasantville, died August 25 at the age of 87.
John worked in construction for many years then worked for Sealectro in Mamaroneck for
several years. His later years were spent working at Pleasantville recycling center.
He finally retired at age 80.
John is survived by his wife Marion St. George Foca, his daughter and her husband Linda
and Robert Mitten of Brookfield, CT, his son and his wife John M. and Eva Foca of
Hopewell Junction, his sisters Marion Greco and Phyllis Pontura, both of Hawthorne,
his brother Andrew Foca of Pleasantville, his sister Muffy Stamper of Illinois, his
grandchildren Marisa and Jack Mitten and Danielle and Joseph Foca and 17 nieces and
nephews. His brother Carl Foca and his sisters Jenny Foca and Edith Parise
predeceased him.
Visitation will be Friday, August 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Beecher Funeral Home,
Pleasantville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 27 at 10 am, at
Holy Innocents Church. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to
Parent Project, Muscular Dystrophy, 158 Cinwood Plaza, Suite 220, Fort Lee, NJ 07024
in his name would be appreciated.
