ELEANOR PALAGONIA

Eleanor Palagonia passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 22, 2005. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband C. T. Palagonia in 1988. Eleanor is survived by her two children, Robert Palagonia of of Tequesta, FL and Barbara Truesdale of New Rochelle, five grandchildren; Robert, Jr., William, Meredith, Teddy and Scott, daughter-in-law Mary Ellen and son-in-law Skip.

Eleanor was a member of Sts. John and Paul Church for over 50 years. She was an active member of the Sts. John and Paul Women's Guild, The Ladies of Charity, The Women's Club of Larchmont and a member of The Larchmont Shore Club.

Eleanor was most proud of her affiliation with St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester where she was on the Auxiliary Board and in 1999 was presented with the Saint Vincent Award for her 30 years of service.

Family will receive friends at John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 2080 Boston Post Road, Larchmont, NY on Monday, July 25 from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday, July 26 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 27 at 10:00 am at Sts. John and Paul Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent's Hospital-Westchester, 275 North Street, Harrison, NY 10528.
