MARY IACOVELLO

Mary Iacovello of Larchmont, NY passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at the United Hebrew Geriatric Center in New Rochelle. She was 91 years old. Mary was born in Ceppaloni, Italy to Antonio and Carmela Mastocciolo.

Mrs Iacovello was predeceased by her husband Joseph on January 22, 1983. She is survived by one daughter Carol A. Acocella and husband Michael of Rye. Two grandchildren Michael J. Acocella of Larchmont and Sharon Acocella Sweeney and her husband Joseph of Larchmont and her beloved great-granddaughter Jennifer Sweeney, who made her laugh all the time. Mrs. Iacovello is also survived by one sister Antoinette Santora of Boyton Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her sister Beatrice Hammel and brother Joseph Mastocciolo.

Mary was best known for always smiling and her wonderful home baked cookies, which she shared with everyone. She was a member of the Mamaroneck Columbiettes and the Larchmont Senior Center.

Visiting hours at the Fox Funeral Home on Friday, July 15, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass at Sts. John & Paul Church, Larchmont on July 16, 2005 at 10 am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle.
