OCTAVIA E. ROGERS

Octavia E. Rogers of Mamaroneck departed this life May 11, 2005. Born April 30, 1921 to Chauncey and Laura Rogers in Mamaroneck. A graduate of Mamaroneck public schools. She was an active member with the Garden of Prayer Cathedral.

Surviving are two sisters, Deaconess Florence Green and Mother Elvira Ritch, a host of friends, including Ezell Johnson and Frances Richardson, nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, grandchildren and great-grands.

Visiting Monday, May 16 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm Barney T. McClanahan Funeral Home, 30 Winthrop Avenue, New Rochelle. Funeral service Tuesday, May 17 at 11 am at the Garden of Prayer Cathedral, 1874 Washington Ave., Bronx, NY. Interment Greenwood Union Cemetery. BARNEY T.
