IRMA J. WALSH
Irma J. Walsh, 83, of Larchmont, wife of the late Richard J. Walsh died
May 12, 2005 at Bayberry Care Center after a brief illness. She was born December 10,
1921 in Knoxville, TN, daughter of the late Dallas Franklin Culvahouse and Rena May
Collins.
She served during World War II as a Wave in the US Navy in Washington, D.C. She moved to
New York City in the late 1940's. She was a resident of Larchmont for 40 years. Mrs.
Walsh worked in the Larchmont Public Library which she loved for 30 years. She was a
communicant of Sts. John and Paul Church and enjoyed reading and watching New York
baseball.
Mrs. Walsh is survived by her three children, Mary D. Walsh of Medford, MA, Rena D.
Walsh-Noring and her husband Richard Noring of Danvers, MA and Richard J. Walsh of Bronx,
NY: two grandchildren Zachary and Kyle Noring of Danvers, MA. She is also survived
by a sister Virginia, of Knoxville, TN.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, May 16, 2005 at 10:30 am at Sts. John and
Paul Church in Larchmont. Visiting hours will be Sunday, May 15 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Fox
Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Larchmont Public Library in
Irma's memory.
