SERENA RUGGIERO

Serena Ruggiero, of Mamaroneck, died on May 5, 2005 at age 88. Born November 23, 1916 in Mamaroneck to Carmelo and Elvira (nee Spinelli) Lanza. Serena's joys in life were her family and her grandchildren. As a dancing team, Serena and Guido enjoyed a successful career in competitive ballroom dancing.

Survived by her husband Guido, of 68 years, a daughter Gina von Eiff (husband Warren), grandchildren: Jennifer and David, and a sister Lillian Auliso. Predeceased by siblings: Joseph Lanza and Carmella Rigano.

Visitation Sunday, May 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at COXE AND GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd. in Mamaroneck (914)698-5968. Funeral Mass Monday, May 9 at 10 am, at St. Vito's Church, followed by an interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle. Donations to the American Heart Association are suggested.
