FELIX S. VARELA

Felix S. Varela, 71, of Mamaroneck, NY, died in his home in Carolina, Puerto Rico on April 8, 2005. Felix was a devoted husband of Ana and a beloved father of Barbara.

Felix retired as Associate Executive Director of The Renaissance Project Inc. after 32 years. He was dedicated to helping treat individuals recovering from addiction. This was his passion. Felix, a veteran of the Korean War, was buried at Cemeterio National in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. A Memorial Service to follow in May 2005.
