PAUL N. MANCUSO
Paul N. Mancuso, a Mamaroneck resident since 1963, died April 16, 2005
at age 82. Born September 21, 1922 in the Bronx, NY to Eugene and Mary (nee Squillante)
Mancuso. Paul served his country honorably during WWII as a member of the US Navy-Coast
Guard.
In 1955, he founded Fiberlux Products, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of vinyl windows
and doors. Paul was pioneer visionary in the use of rigid vinyl in building and
construction. He was also active in building many developments communities throughout
Westchester County. He was also the founder and Chairman of Vinyl Window and Door
Institute, and longtime member of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association.
Paul served as President of Fiberlux until his retirement in 1987.
An avid outdoorsman, he had a great love of hunting and fishing, especially on his boat
on Long Island Sound and in Florida. Paul's family was at his heart, and he reveled in
their accomplishments.
A loving family man, Paul is survived by his wife Margaret, to whom he was married for
54 years. He is also survived by his daughters Mary Vasami (husband Ralph), Barbara
Mancuso, Joanne Lancia (husband Stephen) and Catherine Boyack (husband Robert);
grandchildren Ralph (wife Kelly), Chris, Greg and Laura Vasami, and Brennan, Kylie,
Dylan and Gavin Boyack and siblings Eugene Mancuso, Dolores Tedesco, Gloria Kennedy,
and Rosalie Filipelli. He was predeceased by a brother Vincent Mancuso and sisters
Susan D'Alessio, Delia Mancuso, Edith Heftler and Jean Johnson. Paul was also loved by
many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom he has left behind.
Family will be receiving friends Sunday, April 17 from 7-9 PM and Monday, April 18
from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 East Boston Post Rd Mamaroneck.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 19 at 10:00 AM at Most Holy Trinity
Church in Mamaroneck. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations
may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, or the Lustgarten Foundation for
Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY.
