SANTINA "SANDY" ABBATE

Santina “Sandy“ Abbate died on April 16, 2005, at age 73. She was born February 25, 1932 to James and Carmela (Spinelli) Rigano. For many years she worked in food service at Mamaroneck High School.

Loving wife of the late Peter T. Abbate, Sandy is survived by her loving children James and Peter Abbate and grandchildren Richie, Nicole and Savanna. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sandy is predeceased by a son Richard Abbate and a brother Lawrence C. Rigano. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends especially Carrie Medico and Lea Tomassetti, who will always recall her indomitable spirit.

Visitation Tuesday, April 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 20 at 10 am at Sts. John & Paul Church in Larchmont followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be sent to Jansen Memorial Hospice.
