MARY (PARISI) LOGIUDICE

Mary (Parisi) LoGiudice, a Mamaroneck resident died February 28, 2005, at age 80. Daughter of the late John and Carmela Parisi, Mary was a docent of Mamaroneck's first school house and a graduate of the Packard School. In 1979, she received her Bachelor of Arts from Empire State College and later attended Pace Law School.

She spent 38 years with the Mamaroneck School System, 10 years as Superintendant's Secretary and District Clerk. Mary was the first woman member of the Mamaroneck Rotary Club, and she was honored by the Mamaroneck Historical Society for her many contributions to this village. She served as president of the Mamaroneck Public Library, an officer of the Student Aid Fund, a member of the Board of Friends for the Emelin Theater and was active in both St. Vito's Church and the St. Ann's Guild. Mary was a gracious hostess who loved to entertain her family and friends.

Loving wife of the late Philip LoGiudice. Survived by her cherished children Mary Grace LoGiudice of Maryland, Mary Ellen LoGiudice of Mamaroneck, Mary Ann Brereton (husband John) of Rhode Island, Philip LoGiudice (wife Katherine) of Ossining, and Mary Alice Soto (husband Anthony) of Mamaroneck. Devoted grandmother of Michelle Brereton, Lindsey and Courtney Soto, dear sister of Edith Wilson of New Rochelle and John Parisi of North Carolina. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Anthony Parisi.

Visitation Wednesday, March 2 from 7-9 pm and Thursday, March 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 East Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass Friday, March 4 at 10 am St. Vito's RC Church followed by interment at Beechwoods Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Mamaroneck Library or Mamaroneck CAP Center.
