THEODORA J. PAYNE

Theodora J. Payne died on February 8, 2005 at age 86. Born June 24, 1918 to Wardelle and Edith (Seeley) Mitchell, she worked as an operator for NY Telephone Company.

She is predeceased by her husband, Verdelle Payne. Theodora is survived by her children, Verdelle Payne, Jr. (wife Gayle), Theodore Payne, Katherine Savage (husband Curtis), and Jessie Brown (husband Darrell), a sister, Jean Gilliam, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers, Marvin, Calvin and Albert.

Visitation Sunday, February 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 East Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. Funeral service Monday, February 14 at 10 am Straight Gate Church followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery.
