FRANCISCO I. "CHEECH" POCCIA

Francisco I. “Cheech“ Poccia, a lifetime Mamaroneck resident, died January 25, 2005 at age 83. Born November 23, 1921 in Mamaroneck to Antonio and Carmela (Funicello) Poccia.

“Cheech“ was a Stone Mason for Poccia Construction. He was also a member of the Storm King Golf Club in Cornwall, NY.

Survived by children: Frank Poccia (Linda), Donna Madell (Stanley) and Antonia “Toni“ DeMola (Steven); grandchildren: Michele, Matthew, Erica, Daniel, Rachel and Stephanie and a brother, Ernest “Ernie“ Poccia (Mary). Predeceased by his first wife, Louise (Nolletti), a second wife, Peggy Margaret (Manfredo) and brothers: Albert and Alfred Poccia.

Visitation Friday, January 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at COXE AND GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 East Boston Post Rd. in Mamaroneck (914)698-5968. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 29 at 10:30 am at Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester, followed by an interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
