DOROTHEA MOORE (NEE O'FARRELL)

Dorothea Moore(nee O'Farrell) died on January 17,2005 at age 93. She was born in New York City on August 23, 1911 to Valerian and Anna (nee Gould) O'Farrell.

Mrs. Moore was a graduate of Manhattanville College and Fordham Law School. She worked as an attorney for over 30 years from her Larchmont office. In 1941 she married Thomas F. Moore, Jr. Esq who was former general counsel for the New York State Power Authority. He died in 1978.

Cherished Mother of Thomas P. (wife Maura) Moore, Valerie (husband Jack) O'Keeffe, Ursula Moore, and Elaine Moore Amy; devoted Grandmother of Anna Q'Keeffe Fenwick, John Moore O'Keeffe, Sylvia Moore, Carloyn Moore, Thomas Amy and Leigh Anne Amy; also survived by 4 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by siblings Alfred O'Farrell and Laura Frapwell.

Visiting on Thursday, January 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 East Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, NY, 914 698 5968. Funeral Mass Friday, January 21 at 10 am at Sts. John & Paul R.C. Church followed by interment at Gate of Heaven. In lieu of flowers' donations may be made to Notre Dame School, c/o Sr. Dolan, 327 W. 13 th St., NY, NY 10014.
