VICTOR “JIMMY“ VICINANZA
Victor “Jimmy“ Vicinanza, on December 22, 2004
at age 80. Born in Brooklyn to Michaelangelo and Theresa
(Spadaforma) Vicinanza. He served in the Navy during WWII.
Jimmy was the owner of Kent Contracting in White Plains. Many
of his construction projects were featured in House Beautiful
Magazine. Jimmy was a 40 year member of the Moose Lodge #294 of
White Plains. He was an avid train collector, who also enjoyed
cooking and spending time with his family, especially his
grandson, Matthew. Jimmy also enjoyed trips to Mohegan Sun.
Loving husband of Victoria (Selino). Cherished father of Mary
Lou Niciu. Devoted grandfather of Matthew James Niciu. Dear
brother of Angelina Tucci, Emily Arceri, Jean Jay (husband,
Stan), Rose Selino (husband, Angelo), Carmella Smith (husband,
George) and Lucy Putnam. Brother-in-law of Marie Holley, Agnes
and Manny Galvao and Delores and Peter Testa. Also survived by
many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister, Rose
Linari.
Funeral Mass, today, Friday, December 24 at 10 am, at St.
Vito's RC Church. Donations can be sent to Sarah Neuman Nursing
