WILLIAM F.(BILL) O'GORMAN
William F. (Bill) O'Gorman at the age of 83, of
Sandwich, MA and formerly of Larchmont, NY for 53 years, passed
away Wednesday, November 24th, 2004. Bill is survived by his
wife of 57 years Carol (Hess) O'Gorman of Sandwich, also
formerly of Larchmont and his daughter Ellen O'Gorman of
Burlington, MA. A sister Mary Rita Moncrief of Davis, CA,
along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews
and many, many friends also survive him.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, December 3rd at
1 pm at Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, Kingston, MA,
where family and friends are invited to attend and/or participate
in wonderful remembrances of the life of William O'Gorman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's name to
Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, 657 Main Street, W. Yarmouth,
MA 02673, www.habitatcapecod.org or to the Big Brother and Sister
of Family Services of Westchester, One Gateway Plaza, 4th floor,
ATT: Thomas Mitchell, Port Chester, NY 10543, in honor of his
lifelong commitment to help others less fortunate than himself
and providing building blocks for the lives of many individuals,
including the mentoring of many in his family, neighborhood and
with his friends.
