CORNELIUS O'LEARY

Cornelius O'Leary of Mamaroneck died on November 19, 2004. He was born in Inchanagown-Bantry Co., Cork, Ireland in 1904 and emigrated to U.S. in 1925.

He married Margaret Clossick in Providence, RI in June of 1929; she died May of 1974. Married Mary Walsh Chapin in July of 1975, who survives him. Employed as mailman at Mamaroneck P.O. for 35 years. Active member of Holy Trinity Parish since 1930. Member American Irish Association of Westchester, life member Knights of Columbus 67 years and Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Husband of Mary, father of Maureen Dall, nine grandchildren: William Dall, Patricia Melillo, Margaret Hampe, Catherine Dall and Judith Brisson, also three great-grandchildren, a sister, Margaret in Ireland and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at O'Neill Funeral Home on Sunday, November 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
