JOSEPH D. NACLERIO
Joseph D. Naclerio, a long time resident of
Pelham Manor, NY, died peacefully on October 24, 2004.
He will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father,
grandfather and great-grandfather. He was born on January 21,
1916 to Salvatore and Elizabeth Naclerio. He was married to his
beloved wife of 55 years, Madeline Tuccillo Naclerio, who
predeceased him.
Mr. Naclerio and his brothers owned and operated Naclerio
Contracting Co., Inc., Pelham Contracting Corporation and
were involved in many projects in the five boroughs of New York
City as well as New York State. He was a member of the
International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 14. He was
the loving father of Salvatore Naclerio and his wife Phyllis of
Eastchester, and Joy Naclerio of Scarsdale. Cherished by his
grandchildren Joseph Naclerio and his wife Tracey of Eastchester,
Stephen Naclerio and his wife Virginia of Hartsdale, Suzanne
McCrosson and her husband Matthew of Mahopac, and Marisa
Naclerio of Mamaroneck. He leaves his precious
great-grandchildren Lauren Madeline Naclerio and Brendan and
Madeline Rose McCrosson. He was the dear brother of Frances
Capasso of Venice, FL, Nancy Andrews of Harrison, Richard
Naclerio of Pelham Manor, Virginia Naclerio of Pelham Manor and
Rosann Naclerio of Harrison, and is also survived by many loving
nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Thomas,
Salvatore, Edward and Raymond Naclerio.
Visiting hours will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home on
Tuesday, October 26 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be at
Our Lady
of Perpetual Help Church, Pelham Manor on Wednesday, October 27
at 10 AM.
Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations
in Mr. Naclerio’s memory may be made to The Mount Vernon
Hospital Development Fund, 12 North 7th Avenue, Mount Vernon,
NY or The Wartburg Home, Wartburg Place, Mount Vernon, NY 10552.
