RICHARD GRAVER

Richard Graver, of Mamaroneck, beloved husband and father, died October 15, 2004.

He was born in Bowling Green, MO on April 29, 1920 to Henry and Effie (McBride) Graver. Richard was a veteran of WWII and received a Good Conduct award from the Army. He worked in building maintenance for the Schaeffer Brewing Company in Mamaroneck as well as several local hotels.

He married Marge Funicello at St. Vito’s Church on December 30, 1944. His wife, Marge; his daughters: Kathy Varian of Mamaroneck; Rosemary Bliss and Angela Perri of Bergen County, NJ, and a son, Henry of Croton-on-Hudson, and five grandchildren survive him. Also surviving is two sisters: Velma Lovelace of Missouri; Bernadine Wilson of Florida, and a brother, Gordon of Missouri.

There will be a Memorial at the home of Richard and Marge Graver, 745 River Street, Mamaroneck, on Sunday, October 24, 2004 from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans at DAV Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301 or www.dav.org.
