MICHAEL "MICKEY" PINTO
Michael "Mickey" Pinto, of Florida, formerly of
White Plains, died on September 11, 2004. He was 70.
Born on September 3, 1934 in Mamaroneck, NY to Joseph M. Pinto
and Lucy Alfero. He married Palma Pinto, who predeceased him on
July 2, 1986.
Michael served in the Air Force National Guard back in the
early 60’s. He was a graduate of Mamaroneck High School and also
of L.I.U. and received his Masters at Pace University in White
Plains. Michael was a member of the Elks Lodge in Florida and
the Roma A.C. Club in White Plains.
He was a lifelong resident
of the area and moved to Florida eight years ago. Michael was a
retired Director of Physical Therapy at N.Y. Hospital for
30 years, and former Assistant Director of Public Housing in
White Plains for ten years.
He is survived by his second wife, Janice Pinto and three
children: Michael, Jr. of Portchester, NY; Pamela Macey of
Yorktown, NY and Joseph of White Plains, NY. He is also survived
by six grandchildren: Bryan, Jonathon, Jason, Katie, Marissa and
Lauren.
Visiting Sunday, September 19, 4-9 pm at McMahon, Lyon &
Hartnett Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass Monday, September 20, 10 am, at Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel Church.
Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations
made to the Cancer or Heart Assoc. of your choice.
