Karen E. Bauer
(July 28, 2003) Karen E. Bauer of Mamaroneck, N.Y
died July 28, 2003. She was born 11/27/52, attended schools
in Wickliffe and Mentor,
Ohio
graduating
in 1971.
She graduated
from Kent
State in 1978, University of Miami with a JD
in 1981, and Georgetown University with a M.S.A. in 1984. She worked as a tax
attorney with
Squire, Sanders and Dempsey in Washington D.C. and later in New York City. Most
recently she devoted her time to raising her son and daughter.
Surviving along with husband, John, and children, Vivian
and Jack, are her stepson, Chris, mother, Mary E. Schwaller,
brothers Glenn F. Schwaller and and Don J. Schwaller of Lake
County, Ohio, and sister, Marian Carney of Dublin, NH. Her
father,
Frederick
A.
Schwaller predeceased her. She will be sorely missed by all.
She was active in the White Plains Rotary, St. John’s
Episcopal Church, the Girl Scouts as well as various bar
associations.
A service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church in
Larchmont, NY on Saturday, 8/2/03 at 2 pm. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Hospital
in the Bronx or St. John's.
