MARY V. BUCKLEY

( January 11, 2003 ) Mary V. Buckley, 87, wife of the late John J. Buckley and a resident of Larchmont for more than 40 years, died on January 9, 2003.She was born on December 8, 1915 to John Seery and Mary McAuliffe Seery in New York City.

She was a long-time parishioner of St. Augustine's Church in Larchmont and a
member of St. Monica's Guild. Her many volunteer activities included the
United Cerebral Palsy campaign and scouting, in which she served as Cub
Scout and Brownie troop leaders. She was also an election representative
for the Republican Party in Larchmont.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Alice Roberts, of Rye; her two sons, Patrick J. Buckley, of Larchmont and John J. Buckley, Jr. of Washington, D.C.; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her sister, Anne M. Fitzgerald, her brother, John J. Seery, and her granddaughter, Molly F. Roberts, predeceased her.

Visiting hours are 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday January 17, 2003 at John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 2080 Boston Post Road, Larchmont, NY 10538,

Funeral Mass is on Saturday, January 18, 10 A.M. at St. Augustine Church followed by Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
