(August 30, 2002 ) Elizabeth Hanson Oslyn died of cancer at her home in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts on August 30, 2002 at age 41. Liz, as she was called by family and friends grew up in Larchmont, attended St. Augustine’s school, Chatsworth Elementary School and the Hommocks. She graduated from Mamaroneck High School and went on to graduate from Fordham University.

She moved to Martha’s Vineyard in the 1980’s, established her home there and worked in the schools. She did house painting and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Justin, 9, Sam, 7, and Grace, 5; her mother, Elizabeth Q. Hanson of Larchmont; and brothers, Stephen, Kevin, and Thomas J. Hanson; and sisters, Nell Lauber and Nora Hanson.

A memorial mass will be offered at St. Augustine’s Church in Larchmont at 11:30 on Saturday, September 7, 2002.
