Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Thomas J. Lamb

Thomas J. Lamb, a Mamaroneck resident, passed away at his son’s home in Mamaroneck where he spent the last year of his life, on January 27, 2009 at age 82. Born and raised in New Rochelle February 12, 1926 to William and Helen (McMahon) Lamb. He served in the Army during WWII. Thomas was an electrician for Local 3 and was a member of the American Legion in New Rochelle.

He is survived by his cherished son Richard, adoring grandchildren Chris, Gregory, Andrew and Stephanie, daughter-in-law Elaine, and his brother Billy Lamb. Thomas is predeceased by his beloved wife Marian, and son Thomas, Jr.

Visitation Thursday, January 29 from 7-9 pm and Friday, January 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Saturday, Jaturday 31 at 11 am Sts. John & Paul Church followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
