Dear Bob, Edo, Pete & Beth…..So sorry to hear about Mike. Growing up, I always admired how he ignored the diffacult and pushed ahead. Best to you all….Grad Girardi
Pete , Beth and all the Purcells. So sorry to hear of Mike ‘s passing. My thoughts are with you all. Jim Larkin
I am sorry to hear about Mike as well. Although I have only misty memories of the Purcell family from my childhood, they are fond ones. My parents were friends of his parents and sometimes took us over to the Purcells for a visit, where we were always made to feel welcome. The Purcell family was part of what made Larchmont such a great place to grow up.
To the Purcell family: Many thanks for the special memories.
Peter,
I was sorry to read about Mike. I remember our days at St. Augustine and Iona. He was a terrific guy. Best to you and your family.

To all the Purcells -
Mike was like a big brother to me and one of my best years of my youth was in a large part due to his love and friendship. It was when I was 12 and he helped me to become a decent pitcher for my little league team. It was more than just showing me how to throw a baseball, it was really all about him looking after me and taking time to be a friend.
God Bless him!
Chris
