Robert J. DiGiacomo, of Mamaroneck, died August 25, 2009 at age 75. Born November 20, 1933 in Brooklyn. Bobby served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and went on to become a firefighter with the Scarsdale Fire Department. He was a proud member of many clubs and organizations including; Mamaroneck Elks, Knights of Columbus Mamaroneck & American Legion Post 90.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth (Theriault), cherished children, Barbara Lupero (Richard) and Lynn Auletta (Robert), dear grandchildren, Thomas, Ryan and Jennifer Lupero and Anthony and Stephanie Auletta and greatgrandson, Shane Lupero. Also survived by his special friends, Frankie and Vincent Garito.
Visitation Thursday, August 27 fromĀ 2-4 and 7-9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck. (914) 698-5968. Funeral Mass Friday, August 28 atĀ 10 AM at St. Augustine’s RC Church followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Jansen Memorial Hospice or Calvary Hospital Hospice.
