Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Michael F. Guadagnolo, Jr

Michael F. Guadagnolo, Jr of Larchmont, NY passed away on December 20, 2010 at White Plains Hospital. He was 89 years old. Born August 20, 1921 in Glasco, NY to Michael and Frances Guadagnolo.

For 25 years Michael owned and operated Guadagnolo’s Service Station in Larchmont, NY and was a 48 year member of the Mamaroneck Elks Lodge # 1457. He served in the United States Army 357 Infantry 90th Division in Europe during WWII and landed on the beach of Normandy during the D-Day Invasion. 

Michael is survived by his wife Patricia Mallin Guadagnolo, four children, Michael Love, Richard Guadagnolo, Jimmy Marchione and Raemon Guadagnolo as well as his brother Joseph Guadagnolo, sister Mary Franco and grandchildren Michael, Richard and Gregory.

Friends may call from 7-9 PM on Tuesday, December 21 and from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM on Wednesday, December 22 at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Thursday, December 23 at Sts. John & Paul RC Church, Larchmont, NY. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. .
