Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Judith Chambers Sharp

Judith Chambers (von Bernuth) Sharp, 77, born January 7, 1932, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 22, 2009.¬† ¬†Born in New Rochelle, only child of Oscar and Elizabeth (Chambers) von Bernuth, Judy graduated from Middlebury College (BA) and Manhattanville College (MA). Judy lived most of her life in Larchmont, where she was an active and long-time member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. She was also a Chapter President of the Larchmont Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas and Dionne Sharp of GA and Andrew and Mary Sharp; and her grandchildren, Griffin and Morgan, all of CT. Services will be Wednesday, July 29, 11 AM at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 4 Fountain Square, Larchmont. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be sent to The Masters School, 36 Westledge Rd., West Simsbury, CT 06092. For online condolences and directions, please visit .
