Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Joseph Micalizzi

Joseph Micalizzi, of Mamaroneck, passed away August 28, 2009 at age 70. Born July 24, 1939 in New Rochelle, NY to Andrew and Rosmund (Spafford) Micalizzi. Joseph was employed at Technical Material Corp. as a shipping inspector, and was also the proprietor of Power Test Service Station, both in Mamaroneck.

Survived by his cherished children Joseph, Patrick and William (Natalie), three adoring grandchildren, and siblings Ralph, Rose Ann (Jack)Harvey , Natalie Murray and Patricia (Ronald) Freeman. He is predeceased by siblings John, Andrew, and Mary Jane Micalizzi.

Visitation Monday, August 31 fromĀ 5-9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. Prayer Service at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday, September 1 atĀ 10am, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
