Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

John DeRuzza

John DeRuzza, formerly of Mamaroneck passed away at home in Carmel, NY. on January 15, 2011 at age 97. He was born April 11, 1913 in France to Giuseppe and Tomasina (Monti) DeRuzza.John worked as a manufacturing technician in the hearing aide industry. He was also a proud member of the Musician’s Union.

Survived by his wife Katherine (Baxter), cherished children John, Bruce A., and Rosemary DeRuzza, six adoring grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a loving sister Rose Rinaldi. He is predeceased by siblings Pete DeRuzza and Mary Stevens.

Visitation Monday, January 17 fromĀ 2-4 and 7-9 PM at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Tuesday, January 18 atĀ 11 AM at St. Vito’s R.C. Church, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle.
