Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Francesco Cosentino

Francesco Cosentino of Mamaroneck passed away on March 7, 2010 with his family by his side. He was 72 years old. Francesco was born in Centrache, Catanzaro, Italy on September 29, 1937 to the late Onofrio and Maria Caterina (Montesano) Cosentino.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Joan (Giordano) and his children Charles (Susan) Cosentino and Edith Tella and by his seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Michael, Nicholas, Samantha and John Cosentino and Anthony and Matthew Tella. Francesco is also survived by his loving siblings, Rosina (late Antonio) Comito, Filomena (late Nicola) Papasadero, Giuseppe (Rosetta), Rocco (Rosetta), and Giovanna (Carmine) Lombardozzi. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ralph (Maria) and Giovanni (Rose). Dear and cherished brother-in-law of Jean (Giordano), Alfred Citrone and Sandra (Starke) Giordano and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 5-9 PM on Wednesday, March10 at the COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at St. Gregory the Great Church, Harrison, NY. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
