Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS


In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Edward M. Lenard

EDWARD M. LENARD

Retired Lt. Colonel U.S. Army Reserves Edward M. Lenard passed away on January 3, 2009 at age 78. He was born in Brooklyn on April 25, 1930. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served 20 years in the Army Reserves.

Mr. Lenard was an attorney for Western Electric Company and AT&T. He was a member and past president of the Larchmont Rotary Club and served on the Harbor Commission for the Village of Mamaroneck.

Beloved husband of Mary (Smith), devoted father of Dr. Edward (wife Linda) Lenard, Patricia (husband Jim) Angley and Sharon (husband John) Gabriel. Cherished grandfather of Katie, Liz, Laura, Michael, Stephen, Jaquelin, Grace, Brian and Sean and dear brother to Thomas and William.

Reposing on Tuesday, January 6 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 East Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck (914) 698-5968, www.coxeandgraziano.com. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, January 7 at 11 AM at Sts. John & Paul Church, Larchmont. Interment will be private.
