Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

E Payson Clark Jr

After a long illness of Alzheimer’s disease, E. Payson Clark Jr. is in peace. The Clark family lived in Larchmont on Clark Court from 1976 till 2009 and were members of the Larchmont Yacht Club from 1974 till 2006.

Mr Clark, a lawyer with New York Life Insurance for 30 years, enjoyed his time in Larchmont until the disease forced him into full time care. There will be no services.

He was a very happy, proud man. Born Feb 2, 1925, he lived a great 85 years passing Feb 25, 2010. A World War II and Korean War veteran. He proudly took a case to the Supreme Court of The United States of America in 1978. He was a great father to his only son, Edward Payson Clark, III.
