Clara Gironda, a resident of Mamaroneck, died on May 15, 2009 at Sound Shore Medical Center. She was 83 years old. Clara was born April 1, 1926 in Sullojonio, Calabria Italy to the late Joseph and Mariangela Teti Bilotta.

She is survived by her husband Mario Gironda, sons Vito and Joseph Gironda. One brother Benny Bilotta and her sister Sara Polera.

Friends may call from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at St. Vito’s RC Church, Mamaroneck, NY. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY.
