To the family of Charlie Rodriquez: so sorry to hear about Charlie. I grew up on the Avenue and knew Charlie through Jimmy Riley. We moved from Mamaroneck 40 years ago but came back many times and would see Charlie at work or on the Avenue. He was always such a good person. What more can we ask for. Condolences to your family. Regards, Chris and Marell Brooks, California

Charlie was a true Mamaroneck icon and will be sorely missed…never have I met a more genuine person, always with a smile and a joke, pure sunshine. My condolences to the Rodriguez family.

I met Charlie at Sight and Sound 20 years ago. If you didn’t know the title of a song but could hum a few bars of it Charlie would identify it for you and if you so desired order it for you. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of pop music. And as Marissa points out he was a very kind and gentle man.
