Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS


In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Arnold C. Baselice

Arnold C. Baselice, 88, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Bronxville and Mamaroneck, New York, passed away on October 12, 2010. Arnold was born August 26, 1922 in New York City. He attended Salesian High School in New Rochelle; served in the United States Army during WW II where he was stationed in India; and graduated from Georgetown University in 1946.

Arnold owned and operated a paper recycling plant before retiring. He enjoyed life, was an avid golfer and played for many years at Wykagyl Country Club.

Arnold is survived by his Wife of 63 years, Dorothea; daughter Patricia Quintano; sons Peter Baselice and Paul Baselice; five grandchildren and one great grandson.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 15 Cedar St., Bronxville, New York on November 12 at 11:00 AM.
